Prescription replacements and emergency refills

Currently, the ESI Emergency Access to Benefits program is in effect. This is a strategy that enables retail pharmacists to override select benefit edits and allow a script to process earlier than standard during a government defined emergency. Affected members within the emergency area taking specialty medications will be contacted to discuss alternate delivery arrangements, if needed. This process will remain on in impacted counties for the duration of the executive orders.

Severe Winter Weather

If you, or one of your patients, are impacted by severe weather and you need assistance, you can reach out by sending a message through the provider portal or calling us at (855) 672-2755.

Currently, the CVS emergency fill process is in effect for states under a government defined State of Emergency. This is a strategy that enables retail pharmacists to use an SCC13 override to bypass the refill-too-soon reject and allow a script to process earlier than standard. Affected members within the emergency area taking specialty medications will be contacted to discuss alternate delivery arrangements, if needed. This process will remain in impacted counties for the duration of the executive orders.
