The site you use to purchase a health insurance plan. Also known as the Marketplace.
The exchange is exactly the same thing as the health insurance Marketplace (opens in new tab) and the names are interchangeable. They’re both what you use to purchase a health insurance plan if you don’t already have an insurance plan through your job, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicare or Medicaid.
