If your doctor has prescribed medical equipment or supplies for you, it’s best to order them from Oscar’s in-network vendor partners. We work with these providers to ensure that you get your needed Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as smoothly as possible, and that you are receiving high value supplies. Once you’ve ensured that the medical equipment prescribed to you will be covered by Oscar, including obtaining any necessary prior authorization, check out the list below for a list of our in-network providers by DME type – you can contact them to order directly!
Please be sure to check the network status of any of the individual providers listed below. Provider network status can be confirmed with your Oscar online account or the Oscar Health app. Additionally, if you have questions about network status, authorization or your covered benefits, or are looking for medical equipment that is not listed in the table below, please reach out to your Care Team at (855) 672-2755.
Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is any equipment that provides therapeutic benefits to a patient in need because of certain medical conditions and/or illnesses. These require a prescription, and sometimes will require a prior authorization.
Oscar does not cover any over-the-counter health/comfort items or DME that does not require a prescription, such as blood pressure monitors or incontinence garments.
Oscar does not cover equipment designed for comfort or convenience (e.g., pools, hot tubs, air conditioners, saunas, humidifiers, exercise equipment), as these do not meet the definition of durable medical equipment.
You should work with your provider and the DME supplier to submit the necessarydocumentation to obtain prior authorization for your supplies.
