Why do you practice with Oscar?
I'm proud to be partnering with Oscar*, which is striving to make health care easier. I understand the challenges in accessing care, as I navigate situations with my own family and friends. The key to a successful relationship is communication—I listen, ask questions, and come alongside on your behalf.
Which aspects of medicine are you most passionate about?
My goal is to empower individuals of all ages to take control of their health and make informed decisions.
Do you have any quarantine hobbies?
I have recently started a small garden and am learning as I go. So far I have learned it is hard to start a garden in Texas early summer, but arugula did grow from seed and tastes much better than from the grocery store.
What are your favorite books or movies?
I love stories. One of my favorite books is Garlic and Sapphires by Ruth Reichl. My favorite movie is “Life is Beautiful” (even when it is not).
