Starting February 1, 2025, eligible initiations for 3/1, 4/1, and 5/1 effective dates will contribute to a potential one-time bonus on top of your commission. With no bonus cap, you can earn as much as $100 per new eligible member once you hit the required amount of enrollments per select state!Eligible states: Arizona, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina

If you initiate 6 new Oscar members in Illinois, 3 new members in Michigan, and 12 new members in North Carolina with coverage start dates of 3/1, 4/1, and/or 5/1, you will receive the following payout:

Program terms:
  • Bonus payouts are uncapped. There is no maximum potential payout per state. The more you enroll, the more you earn!
  • Help your members make their monthly payments or sign them up for Autopay to secure your bonus. The bonus payment is subject to a clawback if the initiation is retroactively terminated on or before the first full three full premium payments are made on the policy.
  • Eligible members must not have been enrolled in an Oscar plan in the previous 30 calendar days.
  • Must be appointed with Oscar in order to be eligible for bonus payout.

EligibilityThe bonus program applies only to Oscar policies issued in our service areas in AZ, IA, IL, KS, MI, MO, NC.This program applies to Oscar individual and family plan policies with effective dates of March 1st 2025, April 1st 2025, and May 1st 2025. Only producers who are licensed, appointed, FFM-certified, and contracted in the designated states with Oscar are eligible for the bonus. Producers must meet all eligibility requirements for the program at both the time of writing business and on the payment dates. This program applies only to the Agent of Record on the policy, not to general agencies that may assist with the enrollment.The program applies to individual producers and cannot be aggregated at the agency level. Multiple individual producers may not aggregate business to earn bonus tiers under any circumstances. Oscar reserves the right to audit applications to ensure that business is not aggregated for the purposes of this program.Accounts transferred for any reason, including agent of record changes, are not eligible for bonus payments.Oscar retains sole discretion to determine a producer's eligibility for this program. Web Brokers and General Agencies are not eligible for this Bonus Program. Oscar may amend or discount the terms of the program at any time without advance notice.Oscar reserves the right to recoup payment if any of these terms and conditions are violated.Bonus Structure & PayoutBonus calculated and paid at the Agent (Broker) level; combining initiations across Agencies and/or General Agencies is strictly prohibited.Members with a March 1st 2025 effective date must make a minimum of three premium payments and maintain an active policy as of June 1st 2025 with no lapse in coverage to be included under this program. Members with an April 1st 2025 effective date must make a minimum of three premium payments and maintain an active policy as of July 1st 2025 with no lapse in coverage to be included under this program. Members with a May 1st 2025 effective date must make a minimum of three premium payments and maintain an active policy as of August 1st with no lapse in coverage to be included under this program. Oscar retains the right to charge back earned bonuses from the payout if the initiation is retroactively terminated or before the first three full premium payments. Bonus payments will be made to eligible producers by the end of August 2025. Payouts calculated off of initiations by state.There is no cap on the bonus program.If a producer assigns commissions to an agency, the bonus payment will be paid to the agency rather than the individual agent following our standard commission payout practices.
