Oscar's priority throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has been to make sure each member gets the right care at the right time without fearing the costs.

What’s changing, when, and how does it impact me?
Lab testsLab testing for COVID-19 is still covered under your health plan benefits!  This includes COVID-19 PCR or Rapid Antigen tests. Your standard lab deductible and cost-share may apply, but just know that you’re covered for in-network labs.If you go out-of-network for testing, though, you now may have to pay up to 100% of the cost depending on your plan. So keep that in mind! You can always search for in-network labs in your member account. You’re still fully covered in lots of waysAny care you receive for COVID-19 treatment follows your standard coverage benefit details. And COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are still $0. Just make sure to go in-network!

Should I visit an ER?

Here are some indications that you may need to be evaluated and treated in an ER:
  • Shortness of breath
  • Coughing up blood
  • Chest pain
  • Fainting or feeling like you might faint
  • Confusion or altered mental status
  • If you feel you are having a medical emergency, don’t delay care and go to the ER!
